Pardon Me
Joe Biden's pardon for his crooked son for any and all crimes, even those he hasn't been convicted of, shows how corrupt the system has become.
Common sense has been in short supply and politics has become an even bigger circus. Through it all, I’ve done my best to keep you up to date every Wednesday.
The Weekly Dose of Common Sense email and podcast reach tens of thousands of people who enjoy (or are infuriated) by my perspective on what’s going on in the world. I love bringing them to you and am heartened that so many enjoy them.
However, over the next few weeks my team and I will be taking a break to enjoy Christmas and the New Year. My office will be closed from Friday 21 December and will reopen on Monday 14 January.
That means Your Weekly Dose of Common Sense will be taking a break too.
Next year promises to be an important one for all of us. With a Federal election imminent, our country needs to restore common sense to the centre of decision making in Canberra. With your support we can do exactly that. It won’t be for the faint of heart but together we will be able to achieve remarkable things.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be enjoying some time with family and friends and taking the time to reflect on the abundance of blessings we are all surrounded by.
I’m grateful to live in the best country on earth, to be loved by my wonderful family and for the many friends who have shown so much support this year. I am also grateful to you for being part of the common sense community that has given me strength and hope and optimism for the future.
May I take this opportunity to say thank you and wish you, your family and loved ones a very merry Christmas and every good wish for the New Year.
I look forward to catching up again in 2019,
Cory Bernardi.
