Regular people are finally finding their voice and speaking against the toxic proposal to divide our country along racial lines.

I’m betting the Voice is doomed…and that’s not just on the public opinion polls.
The lived experience is telling me that it's a loser.
Those who were previously reluctant to share their opinion, most likely because they didn’t want to be accused of racism, now seem pretty comfortable opening up about their opposition to the Voice.
I had that experience while doing my bit for the local footy club yesterday.
Supporters, umpires and even the opposition players raised The Voice with me without any prompting. The message was consistent.
Every one of them wanted the referendum to fail. They said it was divisive, racist and unfair.
Some also said it was utterly unnecessary to change the Constitution because the government could simply legislate the changes it wanted.
They were all correct.
