A LETTER TO OUR INDIGENOUS BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
Dear Indigenous Australians,
I am horrified to witness the unfolding events flowing from the determined effort to make significant alterations to our Constitution.
As I enter my eightieth year on this beautiful planet, I am immensely saddened to witness the grossly unfair treatment that is taking place in Australia involving our Indigenous brothers and sisters.
As the next 20 days unfold, the split between the YES and the NO voters is widening. Many Indigenous leaders are conducting themselves in an honourable fashion, but sadly, others are splitting the Nation into two distinct groups.
What ever happened to "We are one"?
