Blowout Payrolls: Sept 254K Jobs Soar above Highest Street Estimate, Unemployment Rate Drops, Wages Spike so will Inflation come roaring Back?
Politicians ignored warnings about the financial perils of introducing the NDIS. Now, the program is hurting much more than taxpayers' hip-pockets
I was talking with a good friend about the state of the nation.
We both agreed the future looks particularly challenging given our current trajectory.
We eventually came around to discussing the vast and unsustainable expense of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Whatever its merits, the NDIS is one of the three great rorts involving public money. The other two are the renewables folly and the Aboriginal industry.
The more we spend on renewables, the more expensive and unreliable our electricity supply becomes. And no one can satisfactorily explain what happens to the tens of billions pumped into Aboriginal enrichment annually while providing virtually no demonstrably positive outcomes.
However, the NDIS is in a league of its own.
It's drawing 'carers' and service providers like flies to a honey pot.
