LGBTQIA+ Live Matter … But Apparently Not at the ABC.

When the national broadcaster buries the truth, it isn’t journalism, it’s complicity.

LGBTQIA+ Live Matter … But Apparently Not at the ABC.

The ABC’s misinformation and disinformation aren’t just buried in what they publish, they’re hidden in what they choose not to tell Australians.

From the ABC article titled “Gay and bisexual Sydney teenagers lured and bashed on camera in IS-inspired attacks”

James*, 16, screams as a pack of black-clad teenagers drag him to the ground and stomp on his head while another calmly films the assault in Sydney's Strathfield Park.
In another video, a different 16-year-old is cornered in a toilet block, punched over and over again, slurred as a “f*****” and a “kafir.” Blood pours down his face as he sobs, “I’ll do anything.”
A third clip shows a boy in a cropped top lying silent on the grass, his hands shielding his face as he is repeatedly stomped on and called a "gay dog", while one attacker shouts "Dawlatul Islam" — Arabic for Islamic State (IS).This footage was circulating. It was played in courts. It was known.

Hang on. We are now being told this was uncovered after “a two-year ABC investigation.”

Two years?

So the ABC has inadvertently admitted that for two years they have been censoring stories of bashings of LGBTQIA+ people across Sydney by Islamic extremists.

Two years of violence. Two years of young people being hunted, humiliated, and brutalised. Two years in which families were left unaware of the scale of what was happening in their own city.

If an extremist network was operating in Sydney, targeting minors, filming their violence, and invoking Islamist ideology while doing it, how was this not a national alarm bell from day one?

Where was the urgency? Where was the warning? Where was the front-page outrage?

It’s like what’s been happening in the UK, where Islamic grooming gangs raped hundreds of young British girls, but the BBC censored it in the name of protecting “diversity”.

The ABC have demonstrated that they are so politically correct they would rather endanger the lives of LGBTQIA+ people by not publishing a warning, than risk being seen to criticise the sacred cow of “multiculturalism” or being accused of “Islamophobia”.

The ABC will do anything to try to hide the inconvenient truth: that Australia’s migration policies have failed, not just by importing too many people, but by importing too many of the wrong type of people.

When media organisations fail to confront uncomfortable realities in real time, because they are adhering to the woke agenda, the cost is not abstract. The cost is paid in blood, trauma, and shattered lives.

At the very least, young and often confused LGBTQIA+ Australians deserve honesty. They deserve to know when they are being targeted and by who. Silence and censorship does not protect minorities, it abandons them.

And when institutions appear more afraid of controversy than they are of violence, trust collapses. People begin to suspect that some truths are simply too inconvenient to tell.

The ABC is funded by taxpayers. With that funding comes a duty: to inform, not to filter; to confront, not to conceal; to prioritise public safety over political sensitivities.

If hard truths are softened, delayed, or buried, the result is not harmony, it is resentment, division, and the sense that ordinary people are the last to be told what is happening in their own country.

And by failing to report these bashings by radical Islamists, the ABC also gives cover to the leftist political class to bleat on about so-called “right-wing extremism”.

Then there are the LGBTQIA+ people themselves marching arm in arm with radical Islamists under their “Queers for Palestine” banner. The ABC’s failure to report the truth results in these people being oblivious to the fact that they are like hens carrying a “Chickens for KFC” banner, for if Islamic extremists ever took power, they would march the “Queers for Palestine” to the highest building in town and push them off.

It’s past time that the ABC is defunded. Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to fund this billion-dollar propaganda machine. After all, LGBTQIA+ people matter as well, and they shouldn’t be the latest group suffering because of Australia’s failed migration policies and the political correctness of the ABC.

Thought for the Day

“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.”
– Winston Churchill
