A Question For You

There's something that many readers may have personal knowledge about. I'd love to benefit from your experience so as to avoid a costly mistake.

A Question For You

As many of you know, a new puppy took ownership of our household recently.

Ted is a great dog and has settled right in. However, his breeder has recommended pet insurance, just in case.

I know first hand how high vet bills can be, having nursed one Golden Retriever back from a car accident many years ago. Even a minor operation can cost thousands of dollars and a major one can be more than 10K in total treatment.

Knowing that, I never want the best treatment to be in any way impacted by cost so think pet insurance seems like a good idea.

However, like with all insurance products there are the good the bad and the downright ugly. You only find out which is which when it's too late.

I've never ventured down this path before, which makes it a little odd that I am considering it now but if I'm going to do it then i don't want to make a mistake.

That's where I could benefit from your experience with pet insurance or knowledge of how to choose a good pet insurance provider.
