You Can't Believe the Government
The history of lies surrounding the justification for war is well documented, but the United States once planned a false-flag operation against their own citizens to go to war.
With so much going on around the world, it's hard to believe anything we are told.
That's why I say to trust nothing, verify everything.
Even when governments are caught lying or plotting against their own citizens, people still give them the benefit of the doubt.
Almost every war in history has been built on one lie or another, and lies have justified mighty nations (like the USA) to join the fray.
As a close ally, where America goes, we are expected to follow.
I don't think that's such a good idea, given the propensity of their neocons to find myriad excuses to enter whatever conflict is good for business.
I've given many examples of the depths the US government will descend to as justification for the business of war, but there is one little-known case that makes for interesting reading.
