What Do They Know?

There was a fascinating story in the Daily Mail yesterday.

It detailed how the uber-wealthy are busy building bunkers and fortress-like accommodations in remote areas worldwide.

The story suggested these affluent 'preppers' may know something the rest of us don't.

While some of the world's wealthy have spent hundreds of millions on their bug-out plans, ordinary citizens are equally interested.

An estimated third of Americans are actively preparing for a disaster of one type or another. They spent $11 billion on survival supplies last year alone.

Frankly, who can blame them?

It is far better to be considered a crank who wasted some money if the worst doesn't happen than left hungry and defenceless should a natural or engineered disaster strike.

And there are plenty of growing threats bubbling up around the world.

First, there are international conflicts centred in Ukraine and the Middle East. Both have the potential for rapid escalation, and there is no shortage of neocons in business and politics who see the business profit of war.

Then there are the 'disasters' forecast by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and their ilk.
