Is Corruption Rife?
We like to think of Australia as relatively free of corruption. Of course, that all depends on how you define it.
I don't know much about Brazilian Law, but I can sense an outrageous injustice from a mile away.
And the recent decision by a Brazilian Judge smacks of injustice.
I'm referring to Alexandre de Moraes's decision to impose a nationwide ban on X (Twitter) and freeze the company's bank accounts.
The rationale was to curtail 'misinformation', 'far-right accounts' and 'election interference'.
To make matters worse, the Supreme Court Justice also froze the bank accounts of other companies in which Elon Musk has shares.
As is usual with the Left, they accuse others of what they themselves are doing.
Since the ban, details of the Judge's involvement in misinformation and election interference have been revealed.
While this plays out in a third-world country notorious for public corruption, it isn't too far away from what is happening much closer to home.
