I recently watched an excellent debate between NSW Libertarian MP John Ruddick and newly minted Independent Senator Gerard Rennick.
They are both intelligent and articulate men who recognise that Australia's politicians are damaging our financial and cultural health.
However, their differing perspectives on how best to resolve those problems provide a rich learning experience.

While I am sure the Confidential readership will fall on both sides of the Nationalist vs Libertarian policy ideas, there was one comment that resonated 100% with me.
It was John Ruddick who said:
His words resonated with me because it summed up what I tried to do by forming the Australian Conservatives back in 2016.
I realised then that the Liberal Party had lost its way, with political ranks filled by uninspiring middle-managers looking for a better job.
