The Ardern Rehabilitation Industry

Sydney University calls it “empathetic leadership”. Australians deserve answers about the appointment, the money and the record being glossed over.

The Ardern Rehabilitation Industry

It makes you want to vomit. To be physically sick.

Jacinda Ardern has been gifted a privileged position at Sydney University as a "Professor of Practice".

So now her official title is The Right Honourable Professor Dame Jacinda Ardern.

The university released a statement:

"Her work will focus on empathetic leadership, social cohesion and civic trust; further developing new approaches to global and values-based leadership, as well as exploring new ways to address global health challenges centred on equity, inclusion and wellbeing."

This has to be some type of sick joke.

"Social cohesion"?

This from a woman who achieved the exact opposite of social cohesion, with policies that led to fractured families, lost careers and financial ruin for many Kiwis.

"Empathetic leadership — equity and inclusion"?

This from a woman who smirked about using coercion to divide society into two classes of people.

"Civic trust"?

This from a woman who destroyed civic trust and will be remembered by history for saying, "We will be your single source of truth," and then proceeded to tell lie after lie about the safety and efficacy of the so-called vaccine.

And how can she talk about "civic trust" when she quit as PM before the end of her term, denying voters the opportunity to have their say on her leadership?

She has done so much damage to "civic trust" in New Zealand, and she has abandoned the country, leaving it an economic and political mess, to live in a luxurious beachside home in Sydney.

Our universities are meant to be places of intellectual curiosity and scepticism towards established dogmas. Where is the intellectual curiosity? Where is the scepticism? Where is the willingness to question the flattering account powerful people give of themselves?

Ardern's record should be examined rigorously and critically. Instead, the university's announcement reads like a public relations tribute.

Ardern's appalling conduct during COVID, her failure to question the globalist agenda, her parroting of press releases from Big Pharma and her disdain for freedom of speech make her a person totally unfit to be anywhere near a place of learning.

The only university Ardern is qualified to lecture at is one in North Korea or Cuba.

But her appointment only confirms what we already know: our universities are no longer places of education and learning. They are not concerned with advancing science, technology, engineering, and medicine; they are Marxist indoctrination camps, so Ardern will fit in well.

And that's the issue. Sydney University received $1,237,000,000 last year from Australian taxpayers. If it can find money to pay Ardern and release laughable statements, it's time to take a chainsaw to the more than one billion dollars it received from taxpayers last year alone.

It's sickening that hard-working Australians are now being forced to fund Ardern's luxury lifestyle, funnelling taxpayers' money to her through the University?

And by the way, how did Australian taxpayers fork out to Ardern to enjoy a vacation at a luxury Fijian 5-star resort for Chris Bowen's farcical tropical island climate junket? And why have the Liberal opposition asked this question of Bowen or Albanese in Question Time or Senate Estimates?

Sydney University needs to be fully transparent about how it is spending taxpayers' money. Publish the remuneration Arden will receive. Explain the selection process. Set out the expected work. Against what KPIs will her performance be evaluated?

Or is this just taxpayers' money being used to send a message to the current political class: if you preach socialism and promote the globalist agenda, you'll be rewarded after with bundles of free money? And like all devoted socialists, you too could be living in luxury in a $5 million oceanfront home on Sydney's northern beaches.

But it's just a reminder of how important this next election is. For it will be our last chance to save Australia.

Thought for the Day

“There is no art which one government sooner learns than of draining money from the pockets of the people.”
― Adam Smith
