So Much to Celebrate

With at least 111 days of celebration devoted to the rainbow coalition, some might conclude that society has been conned by those claiming to want to be treated like everyone else.

California has just announced that August is going to be Transgender History Month.

Ok, that’s no cause for celebration, but there is some good news. It’s highly unlikely Transgender History Month will find its way here.

The bad news is that's because we don’t have enough room in our already jam-packed calendar of rainbow celebrations.

We’ve already got the Gay and Lesban Mardi Gras, the Transgender Day of Visibility, the Lesbian Day of Visibility, IDAHOBIT Day ( that’s the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia), Pan Visibility Day ( for pansexuals - whatever they are), LGBTI Domestic Violence Awareness Day, Pride Month, International Non-binary Peoples Day, Wear it Purple, Bisexual Awareness Week, Bi Visibility Day, LGTBI Australia History Month, International Lesbian Day, National Coming Out Day, International Pronouns Day, Asexual Awareness Week, Intersex Awareness Day, Intersex Day of Solidarity, Transgender Awareness Week, Trans Day of Rememberance and World AIDS day.

By my reckoning, that's 111 days of rainbow recognition and celebration because love is love, and we just want everyone to be treated equally.

Need I remind you we have just one day to celebrate mothers and just one day to celebrate fathers, and yet the rainbow activists are desperate to change those because of their apparently offensive gender connotations.

When is it time to admit that society has been conned…yet again?
