It didn’t take long for the globalist elites to come out swinging in 2026.
While most people were still packing away the Christmas lights, a cabal of unelected bureaucrats at the United Nations was putting the finishing touches on a new plan to undermine the rights of parents and redefine the "rights" of a child.
I work with CitizenGO, an organisation committed to defending life, family, and liberty across the world... especially from the globalists who run the UN. This matter came across my desk this week because it threatens everything we hold dear: parental rights, national sovereignty, and the innocence of childhood.
The vehicle? A new draft “General Comment No. 27” from the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, a document so bland in name, yet so dangerous in substance, it reads like it was designed to sneak past scrutiny.
Make no mistake: this is a globalist stealth assault on the family unit.
Behind its technocratic jargon and bureaucratic gloss, the draft proposes two radical ideas: first, that abortion for minors should be treated as a "child’s right"; and second, that a child’s declared “gender identity” should override parental authority, even when it leads to irreversible medical procedures.
Let that sink in.
A committee of unelected ideologues wants your teenage daughter to have access to abortion without so much as telling you. It wants your child’s gender confusion fast-tracked through schools, hospitals, and courts, and if you dare question it, you’re the problem to be managed, not the parent to be respected.
Yet, no country ever signed a treaty giving children the “right” to abortion. No parliament ever voted to hand over decisions about gender transitions to international committees. This draft interpretation is a legal fiction cooked up by radicals who’ve long used “child rights” as cover for their social engineering.
While it isn’t law, it will be weaponised by legalese and the UN's authority and status. If left unchallenged, it will be quoted in courtrooms and classrooms alike across the Western world.
What starts as a whisper in Geneva becomes a hammer in your hometown.
Schools, hospitals, and courts will be instructed to adhere to this new “global standard.” Parental consent? Parental knowledge? That will soon be optional. Because the UN, in its infinite wisdom, wants abortion and gender transition to be human rights for children.
Argentina, to its credit, has spoken out. They warned that the UN committee is overreaching its mandate and violating the foundational principle of good faith in treaty interpretation. They’re right.
CitizenGO is also sounding the alarm. They’ve launched an urgent petition calling on Australia’s Ambassador to the UN to intervene and demand the removal of all language treating abortion and gender transition as “children’s rights.”
The time to act is now, before this language is locked in and used against families for decades to come.
