New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has called for a global cooperation to censor free speech.
It's the latest demand from those who expect the suppression of any ideas that directly challenge their own.
Not satisfied with enlisting the help of the big tech companies to hide any dissent, they've also funded a cabal of 'fact checkers' that only check to see if the facts agree with the opinions of the Left.
In effect they are opinion checkers which is why they always seem to find Joe Biden is right and his fabrications are actually true.
Here's one example.
According to Politifact, Biden did not withhold a $1 billion loan guarantee from the Ukraine until a special prosecutor looking into a company associated with his crack-head son Hunter, was fired.
They must have missed the following boastful claim from a then lucid Biden.
Notwithstanding this war on truth by the left, it is still not enough.
They now want to completely stop the spread of what they call 'disinformation'.
This can be loosely defined as information that the Left don't want you to know.
This is some of what Ardern had to say about free speech to the United nations General Assembly :
"The weapons of war have changed, they are upon us and require the same level of action and activity that we put into the weapons of old.
After all, how do you successfully end a war if people are led to believe the reason for its existence is not only legal but noble? How do you tackle climate change if people do not believe it exists? How do you ensure the human rights of others are upheld, when they are subjected to hateful and dangerous rhetoric and ideology?”
This is classic leftist rhetorical nonsense where they accuse anyone who has a different view is now considered an enemy combatant.
In this instance, like many before, the Left are what they accuse others of.
It has been the globalist left that have infringed human rights through their globally co-ordinated lockdowns and pandemic response. They have been silent in the face of Chinese oppression of Uighers.
They have been, and continue to be, brazen in their lies yet still they want more.
We have come to expect this approach by the oppressive regimes ruling parts of our world. However, the censorship of China, Russia or North Korea is now seen as a model for Western leaders to follow.
Free speech and embracing the battle of ideas is now so dangerous and antithetical to the Leftist agenda that it must be stopped.
The call for a 'global coalition' to participate in this draconian program is one more step toward global governance by the unelected bureaucratic elite.
Unfortunately it's the democratically elected leaders who are selling us all out.
