I know I'll end up with a lot of hate mail over today's comment.
That's because it mentions the UFC - the world's best mixed martial arts (MMA) competition.
The fact that I like, watch and practice combat sports sparks the most outrage in almost anything I write.
I can't imagine writing abuse to someone simply because they liked a sport that I didn't, but I guess some people have busier lives than others.
In any event, this isn't a comment about the Ultimate Fighting Championship but involves it.
Yesterday was a world title fight in the middleweight division. The combatants were very different individuals with a starkly different approach to their craft.
Both are super talented and highly skilled experts, but before, during and after the contest, it became apparent just how vital their coaches were.
Therein lies one of life's essential lessons.
