It's D-Day for Democracy

The US election result will shape America and the rest of the world. Whatever the result, it might still be wise to batten down the hatches.

The US election is finally here and by the time this arrives in your inbox, the first results should be close to coming in.

Although American political predictions are perilous, I'm calling for a Trump landslide.

That's despite the narrowing betting markets and the abundant evidence of election fraud already underway.

The cheating includes the enrolment of non-citizens, ballot stuffing and voting machines that always seem to have 'glitches' that work against Republicans.

In one instance, one type of voting machine was caught switching ballots from Democrats to Republicans and thus required a 'patch' to be rolled out to every machine, after they had been officially certified.

That makes the certification a total joke as the patch could simply be more vote rigging software.

Then there was the case of passwords to all machines in one particular state being leaked on the Internet - potentially allowing hackers to gain access. That leak was allegedly traced back to a Democrat official.

Then of course there's any manner of other tricks that could be pulled, including van loads of votes (entirely for Harris) being delivered in the middle of the night like those for Biden in 2020.

Whatever the Democrats do to cheat, I don't think it will be enough.

And if it is, then the American democratic system is lost.

There is simply no appetite for Kamala Harris and there is genuine warmth for Trump among the people.

Many who were previously opposed to him now realise, despite his quirks, that he has been right about so much.

Most people no know that the media are indeed 'fake news'. They also know that the major political players are corrupt warmongers and they don't care about the American people.

Two weeks before the 2016 election, I detected a shift in the confidence of both the Clinton and Trump camp. It was obvious in how the two candidates were performing.

In 2020, that same Trump confidence wasn't there. Now it's back.

There's also been a shift in the media. Many of those implacably opposed to Trump and who spread every lie they could about him, are now quietly critical of the Democrat campaign.

That's as close as they can come to saying Trump looks like winning. It's subtle but a sign just the same.

Of course, my spidey-senses could be completely wrong. We'll know in a few hours.

That said, right or wrong, America looks set for chaos.

The country is clearly divided and neither side will change their minds about the evil of the other.

The coastal elites will never accept the legitimacy of the Trump agenda. To them he'll always be characterised as an extremist enemy of democracy.

That's total projection, which is one of the global hallmarks of the Left. They always accuse others of what they are guilty of.

In return, the MAGA millions will never accept a victory by the deep state Democrats.

I have no doubt that a Trump victory would be better for America and the world but I'm not sure if it will be enough to save it.

P.S - I couldn't resist the thought for today as an example of Democrat's projecting!

Thought for the Day

“Corruption is a cancer: a cancer that eats away at a citizen's faith in democracy, diminishes the instinct for innovation and creativity; already-tight national budgets, crowding out important national investments. It wastes the talent of entire generations. It scares away investments and jobs."
Joe Biden
