Politicians are so predictable that you can often know what they are going to say before it's even occurred to them.

I get no pleasure out of the 'I told you so' moments. It would be far preferable for the forecasts of bad news to be wrong.
However, after fourteen years in the parliament and having been around politics for decades, the actions of politicians are far too predictable.
That allows those who know how the Canberra bubble and professional spin-doctors work, to anticipate their actions ahead of time.
And so, what was predicted in respect to a government promise on power prices has now borne true.
