Mining billionaire Gina Rinehart has called on Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to crack down on scams on the social media platform.
Sky News contributor Teena McQueen says Ms Rinehart has “had enough”.
“It’s not just her, it’s other high people of great net worth in Australia, and they do nothing,” she told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
“Vulnerable people are caught thinking they can make a quick buck; they look at these sites and ads and go 'oh Ms Rinehart supports this' and jump in. She feels awful that some people have been duped by this.
“This letter to Facebook is really asking they do something about it.”
While the Coalition will eventually oppose the MAD Bill, the big problem is that they support censoring the Internet but want to do it slightly differently.
