Shadow Resources Minister Susan McDonald has discussed the importance of supporting farmers to ensure Australia’s food security.
“Our food is a critical, critical issue,” Ms McDonald told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
She claims countries like Russia and China are already withholding exports of fertilisers.
“But right here in Australia we’ve got a government that is so ideological, that has been so distracted by the Voice that they’re not thinking about these important issues."
“They’re not doing enough on biosecurity –they’re talking a big game but they’re not investing in the real threats we’ve got coming into our ag industries.”
While the Coalition will eventually oppose the MAD Bill, the big problem is that they support censoring the Internet but want to do it slightly differently.
