Canadians Captured by Tyranny

The latest move by the Canadian government is an abject disgrace. If they succeed, the government poison could come for us next.

Have you ever experienced the perception of stability and then a lot of things happen all at once?

The truth is, while things may look like they aren't moving, the little changes accumulate and suddenly they amount to a substantive change that people notice.

Personal weight loss works like that. So does the collapse of empires.

That's what we are witnessing now.

This time it is the Western empire under extreme pressure. Normally I'd say it was the United States but the contagion goes much further than them.

The Anglo-sphere seems to be at war with its citizens and ultimately, that is a war the politicians cannot win.

Over the past two years, we have all been subject to illegitimate curtailing of our liberties.

We have seen how those cocooned from real world impacts are more than happy to impose destructive policies on the rest of us. We know they care nothing for us and only for themselves.

However the new tyranny has taken a great leap forward in Canada.

There, the racist hypocrite Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has upped the anti in attacking his own people by invoking the Emergencies Act.

According to the Canadian Civil Liberties Association:

This law creates a high and clear standard for good reason: the Act allows government to bypass ordinary democratic processes. This standard has not been met.

The Emergencies Act can only be invoked when a situation "seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada" & when the situation "cannot be effectively dealt with under any other law of Canada."

Governments regularly deal with difficult situations, and do so using powers granted to them by democratically elected representatives. Emergency legislation should not be normalised.

It threatens our democracy and our civil liberties.

Under the new powers, Trudeau has granted the ability of banks to freeze or suspend any account without a court order.

It's clear to all that these measures allow government to undermine property rights and effectively punish any citizen for doing something that the government doesn't like.

That includes protesting against the government or financially supporting someone protesting the government.

It's a disgusting development but a salient reminder that the Canadian government (like the rest of the Anglo-sphere) is not a friend or an ally of the people.

They genuinely think we are there to serve them rather than them serving us.

For those who say 'this is happening in Canada and it can't happen here', I'd ask you to think again.

We still have QR code requirements that are for tracking rather than health measures. We have mask mandates that do nothing except expose the non-compliant. Our parliamentary processes have been sidelined in favour of bureaucratic rule and the word's non-mandatory now mean coerced-into.

It's also worth remembering that in some states, invoking emergency powers enabling imprisoning citizens and closing businesses no longer need the approval of parliament.

It's a shocking state of affairs and one that Australian's have allowed to happen bit by bit as they surrendered their independent thought for the promise of safety.

That's what the Canadians did too, until they woke up to the garbage being foist upon them. It's happening here too; and in New Zealand, the United States and Britain.

In their cavalier acceptance of these events, the people are further sowing the seeds of their own destruction.

That's why Canada is important to all of us. If tyranny prevails over there, it's only a matter of time before it comes for the rest of us.
