Campaign Hustings

I'm on the campaign trail and it's clear there is a mood for change.

Campaign Hustings

I've spent the past couple of days on the campaign trail in South-East South Australia.

It's a beautiful and prosperous part of the State, but that doesn't make it immune from the problems besetting many of our regional communities.

The cost of living, lack of accessibility to government services, housing shortages and crime all feature in my conversations with local people.

It's also clear that many people are completely fed up with how they are treated by members of the Uniparty elite. The sense is that the government, no matter which political colour is in power, only pretends to care about them at election times.

The rest of the time, they are treated as cash cows funding a bunch of boondoggles and idiotic policies.

Perhaps it's worse here in South Australia than in other states as we haven't had an effective opposition for the past four years.

To be brutally honest, we haven't had good government for many years, either.

That's why our state debt is huge (and growing), and the people feel they are ignored.

I'm hoping that's going to change come the election on March 21.

For the first time in my memory, the voters have a chance to choose from a real alternative to the Uniparty duopoly.

One Nation is providing hope backed by common-sense policies that will make a real difference in the lives of South Australians.

And whether we have one seat or eleven seats, I can promise you that One Nation will be the strongest voice in South Australia, championing the cause of South Australians.

The result here will also help shape the country's electoral fortunes.

If we succeed in our quest to win representation, the duopoly will be on notice that we are coming for them. Success here will strengthen our case for change in every other state and help the team achieve even greater results at the federal level.

It will herald that the people have had enough of politics as usual.

In short, I truly believe this is an opportunity to help reshape politics around the country.

But the task ahead is monumental.

The Uniparty protects its own interests against the public interest and will do whatever it takes to derail the voice of the people.

That's why we need your help.

Electoral laws and campaign rules are designed to help the Labor Liberal duopoly cling to power. Our only hope is to build our human and financial resources ahead of polling day.

If you can chip in with a donation or support our efforts through volunteering, it could make all the difference.

or you can lend a hand as a volunteer at https://sa.onenation.org.au/volunteer

I truly believe this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to make a real difference in the country's political future.

If you believe that Australia deserves a better future for you, your children and future generations, the time to act is now.
