Bragging The Libs to the Left

The WEF’s man in the Liberal Party threatens to quit over net zero!

Bragging The Libs to the Left

When you threaten to quit any organisation over the removal of two words, it is probably because those two words are doing a lot more than you would like people to notice.

That is Andrew Bragg’s position. The Liberal Senator decries the “fatwa" on "two words", those words being "net zero" by conservatives in his party. Apparently, it's so outrageous that he is prepared to walk away from the front bench if the Liberal Party finally listens to its base and ditches this Parisian green pipe dream.

Bragg is not a free‑thinking moderate acting on principle. He is a card‑carrying member of the World Economic Forum global leadership pipeline, tapped in 2021 as a Young Global Leader. The WEF is the same outfit pushing digital identification systems, centralised monetary control, and a technocratic agenda that strains national sovereignty to breaking point.

His promotion of Net Zero reflects loyalty to a broader globalist ideological agenda dressed up as environmental policy.

And now he is attempting to strong‑arm the party. Keep the Left‑approved climate slogan, or he walks. Let him.

The Coalition base has already moved. The Nationals have abandoned Net Zero. Everyday Australians who are footing the bill for Labor’s energy experiment are awake to the cost of this international virtue signal. Power prices are rising, reliability is weakening, and bureaucrats keep chanting green slogans while industry buckles.

The carbon dioxide emissions debate is inseparable from deeper concerns about political control and centralised authority.

We’ve been here before. Public crises get used as launchpads for massive government expansion, opaque spending, and stifled dissent. Any questioning of the official line is treated as heresy, not inquiry. We saw this during COVID, when alternative voices were silenced, uncomfortable questions were buried, and the people in charge remained unaccountable, no matter how badly they failed.

Now the same global network of experts, think tanks, and transnational institutions insists that Net Zero is beyond debate. That questioning its feasibility or cost is dangerous. That sovereignty must bow to treaties, conference declarations, and foreign pressure.

By championing Net Zero, Bragg aligns himself with a global ideological project that cloaks itself in the language of climate responsibility.

Let Bragg walk. Let anyone who treats the WEF as a compass follow him. The Liberal Party cannot pretend to represent working Australians while importing an ideology written in Geneva boardrooms and Davos ski lounges.

This is a moment of clarity. Either the Coalition stands with voters who believe in energy independence, economic sovereignty, and national strength, or it becomes a polite administrative wing of the global managerial class.
