Betting on Musk

The outrage of those working in the bowels of the tech tyrants says all we need to know about Elon Musk's investment in Twitter.

Hard left activists hate it when things don't go their way.

That's when their self-described tolerance, understanding and acceptance disappears and their true self is revealed.

That inner being is dark and filled with hate for anyone that doesn't subscribe to their ideals.

I can only guess the rage emanates from a sense of personal worthlessness.

A spiritual person may say that it is because they see their life as an end in itself, free of consequences when they die.

That's one possible reason why they are prepared to do almost anything to further their cause.

That includes adults perverting children with pre-school sexual identity grooming. The violence evident by groups like Antifa and the perpetual quest to herd people into collective identity groups.

Leftists are the tyrants they pretend to despise. Infringing on the liberty of others is all par for the course but they hate it when their control becomes under threat.

We saw that happen this week.

The trigger was Elon Musk (of Tesla fame) spending $3 billion and becoming the largest shareholder in Twitter. That news sent the stock up nearly 30% but that didn't mean all the shareholder were happy.

After years of trampling over the speech rights of others and being the arbiters of what is permitted information and what is not, the employees at Twitter lost their little minds at Musk's move.

You see, Musk is a noted advocate for free speech.

That's something the left absolutely don't want to see because it would expose their lies and corruption.

Musk now owns around 9.2% of Twitter stock. It's not a controlling interest by any means but it is hugely influential.

While other centre-right entrepreneurs have set about building new social media platforms, Musk has used a fraction of his net worth to be pivotal in one of the existing behemoths.

It's a masterful move by Musk and it could be a gamechanger in public discourse.

It will be some time before we know if Musk will deliver what many of us hope he will but at least he is putting his own money at risk in pursuit of principle.
