A Digital Detox

Sometimes you get hit with the unexpected, even if it's a first-world problem.

That's what happened to me this week as I headed out to regional South Australia with some friends.

I agreed to go because the work commitments were relatively light and one can never have too many good memories with friends.

That's taken on a new importance as the years fly by.

Taking the bride away for our 27th wedding anniversary seemed like a good plan too.

What I didn't expect was not to have reliable phone or Internet access.

It made me realise just how much of my business life is reliant on digital technology. That includes the Confidential Daily website.
