Llew O’Brien has revived the federal fight to give babies born alive after abortions the same medical care as every other Australian newborn.
The Fair Work Decision will be welcomed by many but it comes at a significant cost to business. That will eventually flow on to the rest of us.
I can understand why those on lower incomes will be rejoicing at the Fair Work Commission decision to increase the minimum wage by 5.2 percent.
The decision will add another $40 per week to those on low incomes
That will bump the minimum weekly wage to $812.60 per week or $21.38 per hour.
