If you need proof of miracles, look no further than a Latin American soccer game.
Last night's football showdown between Venezuela and Paraguay featured so many catastrophic injuries that had players writhing in pain on the ground, only for them to be touched by the hand of God and be up playing again a moment later.
It was a miracle a minute!
All jokes aside, considering the state of the world, we could use a few miracles right now.
The geopolitical situation is growing more interesting by the day.
We have Russia fighting a proxy war with NATO over lands in Ukraine. Iran looks like it wants to enter a full-scale war against Israel. China is encircling Taiwan during military training exercises, and North Korea is blowing up roads and bridges that provide access points to the South.
Any one of them could escalate at any moment. In fact, they all could and where would we be then?
Thinking strategically, NATO's weakness has been illustrated in Ukraine, which seems to have emboldened another global alliance.
I am guessing that China, Russia, Iran and North Korea (CRINKs) are all pursuing their own goals while discussing how the global cop, America, cannot hope to intervene in all disputes.
If things erupt on four fronts, which would the United States and NATO prioritise for defence?
