The ANZAC traditions occupy a special place for many of us. Here's the background behind some of them.
This weekend, many of us will be commemorating the service men and women of our nation. In particular we will give thanks to those who gave their all in defence of our values, our freedom and our country.
It is a day on which we should be proud of all those who have being peacekeepers or peacemakers under our flag.
Anzac does doesn’t glorify war, but it glorifies the spirit of those who when called to do their duty on behalf of others have done so selflessly and with valour.
Anzac day commemorates the landing of Anzac forces at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 and incorporates many traditions and customs.
