After nearly fourteen years in the Senate, I haven't missed it for a day since leaving eighteen months ago. Sure, I miss a few of the people but none of the cut and thrust of politics.
Yesterday I happened to tune in to the television broadcast and I was shocked by how much it had changed. From an insiders perspective it looked like another world to the one I worked in.
