Every day I become more divorced from government and more committed to freedom.

Perhaps it's a product of no longer being an official part of the political system. Try as one might to resist, it's clear a version of Stockholm syndrome takes place when you work in government.

Even the most committed freedom loving politician can ( and does) rationalise policies that should never see the light of day.
