Don't You Know Who I Am?

The entitlement mentality of politicians isn't limited to requesting airline upgrades. It's part of the culture of modern politics.

Airbus Albo seems to be in a bit of a pickle over his requests for airline upgrades.

In true tricky style, he tried to distract the press chooks by releasing the results of the COVID inquiry.

It made for damning reading but didn't get anywhere close to how bad the entire thing was.

There was no science to back up the political or medical decisions. It was a case of follow the leader (in America) and it was obvious from the get-go that the person calling the shots there was a morally (if not financially) corrupt.

I can never forgive any of the politicians who went along with that rubbish or who chose not to raise their voice in public. That's their only job, to stick up for the people of Australia and most failed the ultimate test.

But feeding the chooks some COVID scraps didn't stop the attacks on the man raised by a single mother in social housing who likes things he doesn't have to pay for.

So he released a statement.

It began: "I was raised by a single mother in social housing...", oops sorry, that was last years opening statement. We've since moved on.

In any event, the PM denied ever calling Alan Joyce to request an upgrade for himself or his family members.

A specific choice of words that didn't preclude emailing, texting or having someone from his office make the request.
