Australia has changed. Our financial thinking needs to catch up.
Tomorrow, I'm joining Pat Mesiti and Gurdas Singh Sidhu to challenge the old financial blueprint.
Tomorrow, I'm joining Pat Mesiti and Gurdas Singh Sidhu to challenge the old financial blueprint.
For generations, Australians were handed a financial blueprint that sounded perfectly reasonable.
Work hard. Buy a home. Pay off the mortgage. Build your superannuation. Retire comfortably.
And for many Australians, that approach helped them build a secure financial future.
But we're not living in the same Australia anymore.
Property prices have changed. The cost of living has changed. Global markets have changed. And artificial intelligence is transforming the way enormous amounts of financial information can be analysed.
Yet so much of our thinking about money remains tied to the financial blueprint of previous generations.
Here's the question I want Australians to start asking:
If the world has changed so dramatically, why shouldn't we reconsider the way we approach our financial future?
That's exactly what I'll be exploring tomorrow when I join Pat Mesiti and Gurdas Singh Sidhu for The New Australian Dream — The Wealth Reset Tour.
I'll be discussing Australia's changing financial landscape and why I believe understanding these economic shifts is becoming increasingly important for ordinary Australians.
Pat will tackle the mindset side, challenging some of the assumptions we've inherited about money, prosperity and building wealth.
And Gurdas will take us into the financial markets, introducing the strategies, technology and risk-management principles used by professional traders.
You'll discover why experienced traders don't simply try to predict which direction a market will move. Instead, they develop structured processes for evaluating opportunities and managing risk.
This isn't about abandoning everything you've worked for or chasing promises of easy money.
It's about understanding how the financial world has evolved and becoming better educated about the opportunities, challenges and risks that exist today.
The Australian Dream isn't dead. But it may need a new blueprint.
Tomorrow, the three of us are coming together to explore what that might look like.
We're starting Tuesday at 6pm Sydney time.
The event is FREE, and I'd like you to be part of the conversation.
